Welcome to the Visayas!
The Philippine archepelago is made up of over 7000 islands with several
volcanos. Many of the islands are small and unnamed. About 2000 are inhabited. The islands are in three
distinct groups. Luzon to the north has the capital city of Manilla, Mindanao to the south and Visayas in the centre.
The Visayas is the group of islands including Cebu, Negros, Bohol and Borocay all excellent tourist features for an
interesting tour.

The Philippines has a lot of attractions to offer. From luxury relaxation to more vigorous entertainment for the
adventurer. Each island has it's own unique character, landscape and climate.
The Visayas gives the tourist an opportunity to island-hop and experience a range of cultures. Abundant cheap,
air, sea and land transport faciities link the islands together adding to the experience.
Islands attractions are for every taste. Cebu and it's historic background, Bocoray with touristy
white beaches to the quiet and easy going Bohol with a interesting natural attractions. Most have excellent white
beaches. Some secluded with overhanging palm trees.

Bago city is a good base to explore Negros Occidental close to the slopes of Mount Kanlaon
with beautiful mountain resorts, waterfalls and gardens. Rice terraces and sugar cane country with a mountain range
separating Occidental from Oriental both different characters. Travel south to Sipalay passing pristine white sand beaches
and a mecca for scuba diving. The mountain range can be accessed at a number of places with waterfalls at Mambukal or
Mount Kanlaon or Mao for Buenos Aries with its Olympic sized swimming pool fed by the mountain springs for constant refreshing
water. Ferries from Bacolod connect to other islands in the Visayas.
Negros
has natural beauty undervalued on the tourist map. Plenty of history, tradition and nature to please everyone.

Negros is split longtitudinally into to two provinces.
The largest, Negros Occidental covers the west and south with capital city Bacolod. Negros oriental covers the
east and south eastern side with capital city Dumaguete.
Attractions - white beaches, national parks, scuba diving.
